According to new international trade theories, export is a function of price and non-price variables. Among the non-price variables that have recently attracted the attention of institutionalized economists, the variables of political institutions by reducing transaction costs in trade, provides an appropriate field for further export development. The purpose of this paper is to investigate the empirical analysis of the effect of political institutions on Iranian export to major West Asian trading partners in the framework of the gravity model using the panel data method which six-digit data based on the harmonized system classification (HS) is used during 2009 to 2014. The results of estimated models show that institutional variables (political) along with indicators of economic freedom and financial freedom have a positive effect on Iranian export to West Asian trading partners in eight commodities different groups that is confirmed in high level of significance. Improvement of institutional variables by reducing business risk, motivating economic activists provides entry to world markets and is considered as an important step forward in export development. تجارت و سیاست‌های توسعه‌ صادرات اهمیّت زیادی در توسعه‌ اقتصادی و تأمین منابع مالی کشورها دارد. طبق نظریه‌های جدید تجارت بین‌الملل، صادرات تابعی از متغیرهای قیمتی و غیر قیمتی است. از جمله متغیرهای غیر قیمتی که اخیراً مورد توجه اقتصاددانان نهادگرا قرار گرفته است، متغیرهای نهادهای سیاسی هستند که با کاهش هزینه‌های مبادلاتی در تجارت، زمینه مناسبی را جهت توسعه صادرات بیشتر فراهم می‌کنند. هدف این پژوهش تحلیل تجربی اثر نهادهای سیاسی بر صادرات ایران به شرکای مهم تجاری غرب آسیا در چارچوب الگوی جاذبه با استفاده از الگوی داده‌های تلفیقی می‌باشد که در آن از داده‌های شش رقمی بر اساس طبقه‌بندی سیستم هماهنگ (HS) طی سال‌های 2009 تا 2014 استفاده شده است. نتایج حاصل از مدل‌های برآوردی نشان می‌دهد، متغیرهای نهادی (سیاسی) به همراه شاخص‌های آزادی اقتصادی و آزادی مالی دارای اثر مثبت بر صادرات ایران به شرکای تجاری غرب آسیا در هشت الگوی مختلف کالایی هستند که این اثر در سطح بالای معنی‌داری تأیید می‌شود. ارتقاء متغیرهای نهادی با کاهش ریسک تجاری، انگیزه فعالان اقتصادی برای ورود به بازارهای جهانی را فراهم می‌کند و به‌ عنوان یک عمل مهم پیش‌برنده در توسعه صادرات تلقی می‌شود. https://ecoj.tabrizu.ac.ir/article_6742_9ac384e4545db8f014b314bdc9551d5a.pdf
